(Eng.) Heirlooms

Family heirlooms in a box,
closed and tight, just like Fort Knox.
They come baring gifts, wrapped in shame and in lies.
Their visits are rare and not always nice.
You think you see through them -
inside there’s a gem.
It’s dark and it’s hidden,
because it’s forbidden
to share with anyone.
The web is nicely spun,
so it’s easy getting caught
if you don’t give it a second thought.
