Sometimes when opening up a bottle of wine, you only want to enjoy a couple of glasses, and not empty the whole thing. You might forget about the rest of the wine, and let it sit in the fridge for too long, and then having to throw it out. That’s a waste of money, and I’m sure that’s not what the wine farmer had in mind for his wine, as he stepped on the grapes, while being burnt by the sun and –eaten up by mosquitos.
I have a tip that can help you to use the rest of that bottle of wine, without you having a drum fest in your head, the following day. It goes like this; pour the wine into an ice cube-bag or -tray, and put it in the freezer. That way, you can “spice” up your everyday soup with a dash of wine, or make a lovely red wine sauce, to go with your Saturday night-dinner. We’re making the latter here tonight. 🙂 And I can share the recipe with you, some other day, if you’d like.
Have a wonderful weekend, everyone! 🙂
